We exist to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and make disciples of Him.

At Westside Baptist Church, we are a family of believers in Jesus Christ that seeks to glorify God by making disciples in Dripping Springs, TX and around the world as we live out our love for Jesus in a community of faith.

We believe that true faith in Jesus Christ is a gift from God. Once received, this gift is demonstrated through a life that pursues Christ in all and gives all for Christ.

As a church, we are led by a plurality of elders, we teach through the Bible verse by verse, we worship biblically, we live intentionally, and we diligently make disciples of future generations.

We are joyful

The life of a believer should be marked by the joy that results from unshakeable faith that Jesus Christ is King over all and He is making all things new.

We are led by plurality

We desire accountability in the teaching and preaching of God's Word and so we are led by a plurality of elders as defined in Scripture to be qualified men.

We are a family

We operate with the understanding that Christians are part of a new family - a covenant and eternal family. As such, we hold dearly our body of fellow believers.

We let Scripture lead

God's Word is sufficient for all knowledge and understanding of Him. Therefore, we hold Scripture as ultimate authority and submit to God's Word in all things.

We sing loud

We sing together (and loudly) Christ-centered Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that glorify God and encourage one another to press on in our faith.

We love intentionally

We aim to sacrificially love like Christ in all that we do, seeking His example as our guide. This isn't always easy, but through accountability, we seek to be faithful.

We gather every Sunday at 10:30 for corporate worship but have events and opportunities to connect all throughout the week. Because we strive for biblical community and intentional discipleship, many of our midweek gatherings happen organically. Even if you don't see an event here, there is likely still something happening. The best way to engage right away is join us on a Sunday for Worship.
